Accepting Limitations, A Creative Impulse, Something Innovative and New

One of the most difficult challenges for the soul is accepting the limitations of the body.

It requires hard work to earn a living. It takes time to get places. Dishes must be washed. The body must be cared for. We need to listen and communicate with others. Caution must be exercised around danger.

On the other hand, there’s a certain revelation that occurs when a soul finally does accept physical limitations and constraints, and uses them to do something new and creative. This is also the meaning of the Ace of Wands.

It’s about accepting the rules of the game but also playing the game from the heart, with guidance from the soul and higher aspirations. It’s about a beautiful new synthesis between the higher realms and the lower dimensions, between limitation and expansion.

Material Pressures, Music and Art, Creative Projects and Innovation

In a consumerist society, the way one survives is by going to school, learning a trade, getting a job and making their fortune, right?

Not so fast. Sure, many make their riches this way, but are they truly rich? The undeniable fact is that capital not only brings fortune, it carries with it a heavy weight of responsibility, or a load on the back.

The heavy pressures of the material world is the main subject of the 2 of Wands. Thankfully, this card has more to say about that.

The 2 of Wands is about capital but it’s equally about music, art and artistic ability, including intellectual art. The artist has a significant advantage if they choose to live by it.

Creativity requires patience as well as freedom of the mind so that inventive juices can flow. Sure, money’s necessary, but so is freedom for that energy current to stay in motion.

The wisdom of patience allows artistic inspiration to flow through you and empower you. Then the pressure of responsibilities becomes your fuel rather than a burden. By letting go of the weight, you can soar. It’s your choice.

Tarot: The Empress {How To Resolve Uncertainty}

The Empress by The Victoria Regina Tarot, [If You Know The Name Of This Deck, Please Contact Me], jankolas at Deviant Art and Lunatic Tarot, intuitivefish.com

The Empress, How To Resolve Uncertainty, intuitivefish.com

Fertility, Spirit Communication, Union Through Knowledge

Traditionally, The Empress represents fertility symbolized by Adam and Eve in the garden of paradise. And this is exactly what the card means both esoterically and exoterically – both in the macrocosm as well as the microcosm.

But what does this mean as far as details go? Just like zooming in to a point on a 3D map, we find much more going on than what initially appears.

Ultimately, The Empress is about the relationship between spirit and form. In fact, it’s the spirit coming through form by way of oscillating energy frequencies. But that isn’t always as easy, neat and orderly as we’d like to think.

Within all types of productivity, we meet with difficulties, doubts, uncertainties and plenty of ignorance. As beautiful as the experiences of life are, we can’t get too comfortable because change and vacillation will always occur.

The Empress represents the unknown becoming known, through messages (frequencies) – especially from the higher realms, such as through tarot or astrology. She’s also the portal between another world and this one, like a mother’s womb.

Tarot: 6 of Swords {How To Venture Out}

The 6 of Swords by The Darkness of Light Tarot, azurylipfe at Deviant Art, Shadowscapes, and Krista Gibbard's Ostara Tarot, intuitivefish.com

Tarot 6 of Swords, intuitivefish.com

A Vision From Higher Realms, Message Materialized, Venturing Out

Esoterically, the 6 of Swords is about mediumship, or the pathway through which higher knowledge can come through, such as tarot. It concerns a vision from the higher realms to manifest in the material world.

We can’t deny there’s some degree of a foreboding energy to the 6 of Swords. We often associate the unknown with darkness.

Still, anything terrible that might occur is ultimately on your side, can be used for your benefit, and you’ll be glad you ventured out.

Whatever the case, it’s time to leave your comfort zone. It might feel a little scary, or a lot scary. You might have to learn as you go, by trial and error. The path might lead you further or deeper into something than you planned to go.

But you’re ready for this. All of your experiences thus far have prepared you. It’s time to let go of self-doubt, fear and other energy blocks, trust your intuition, and follow wherever it leads.

Tarot: 6 of Pentacles {How To Ensure Prosperity}

6 of Pentacles by Steampunk Tarot, Chrysalis Tarot, Fountain Tarot and Shadowscapes, intuitivefish.com

Tarot 6 of Pentacles, intuitivefish.com

Staying True To Your Principles, Acting from the Heart, Enjoying the Present Moment

If you add together passion plus self-confidence plus action, what do you get? Success. This is the 6 of Pentacles.

Most of us go about our day doing our duties and our work while not thinking much of it. But this rarely leads to the results we want.

The key to this card is putting your heart into action. It means doing something you feel good about, and that aligns with your principles.

If you’ve discovered your true passion and can enjoy putting it into action, you’ve already met with success. Success is never in the past or future. It’s always in the present moment.

Tarot: 10 of Swords {How To Use Limitations To Your Advantage}

10 of Swords by The Cosmic Tribe Tarot, Mythic Tarot, Mystic Dreamer Tarot, and Shadowscapes, intuitivefish.com

Tarot 10 of Swords, How To Use Limitations To Your Advantage, intuitivefish.com

Material Hardship or Suffering, Oppression, Karmic Consequences

First, the bad news. The 10 of Swords is about obedience to churches, dogmatic creeds, institutions, corporate establishments, civil laws and authorities, and their suppression of the liberated soul.

It’s also about material necessity and the challenges and burdens we face while living under physical limitations. Your position in the world is also at stake.

Next, the really bad news. The 10 of Swords speaks of cruel, unrelenting and inescapable karmic consequences. Fate comes back to visit in various ways, until it has completed its cycle.

It doesn’t get much worse than the 10 of Swords. You might feel trapped, controlled or to put it bluntly, you just don’t want to be here.

Thankfully, karma goes both ways. If you’ve been working hard and honestly toward a certain goal, you can expect a payoff. If you haven’t invested in your material goals, you can expect undesirable circumstances. But you can always shift that reality.

Tarot: The High Priestess {How To Manifest Effortlessly}

The High Priestess by grisabele at Deviant Art, Tarot Illuminati, Mystic Faery Tarot and Phantomwise Tarot, intuitivefish.com

Tarot The High Priestess, How To Manifest Effortlessly, intuitivefish.com

The Divine Feminine, Repose, Devotion To Art, Nature and the Sacred, Wealth Consciousness

The High Priestess, or Divine Feminine, is often deliberately (and not without purpose) misunderstood as incapable, naive, slow or slothful, and even dumb.

But she’s far more powerful and efficient than we’re conditioned to believe, at least when she’s honored and allowed to rest secure in her rightful intuitive place – without persecution and without being viewed as a possession.

The High Priestess as the symbol of ‘womanhood’ {which is the polarity of The Magician as symbolic of ‘manhood} represents creativity, art, and its resulting earthly wealth.

Who dares to define feminine energy {within us all} with the sacred worship she deserves for her creative, natural abundance? Certainly not patriarchy.

This card also signifies devotion, dependability, durability and repose. It speaks of passive resistance or an attitude of waiting.

Tarot: Knight of Wands {How To Deal With Change}

Knight of Wands by The Fountain Tarot, [If you know the name of this deck, please contact me], Yoshitaka Amano and Shadowscapes, intuitivefish.com

Tarot Knight of Wands, How To Deal With Change, intuitivefish.com

Emotional Turbulence, Changes, Relocating

The Knight of Wands isn’t necessarily a bad knight, but somehow he manages to create anxiety and emotional turbulence whenever he appears.

He has a strange tendency to disrupt the internal harmony of an established group or family, and their traditions of the past.

How does he do this? He likes to explore the new and the unknown. The Knight of Wands is all about change and transmutation.

He loves to travel, in a wandering kind of way. In fact, he could be a vagrant, or a floater – an intruder in your home even. But he always seems to be absent, or on his way out the door.

He likes to investigate and he often appears to be on a quest for something, either practically, mentally or spiritually. But that something seems to change with the wind.

Although he tends to live in the past and he’s sentimental to a fault, he needs something new, strange or different. He may even be drawn to the occult.

You won’t feel settled or at rest with this person, especially if you like to maintain the status quo without rocking the boat. A family, home or other established group or tradition will be disrupted with this card – for better or for worse.

Tarot Ace of Cups, How To Move Forward, intuitivefish.com

A Teacher or Guide, Desire-force, Development

The Ace of Cups is generally a card about your future, as in your future development or productiveness, and the kind of inspiring idealism needed to get you there.

The energy of this card offers you hope, encouragement and all around motivation to grow in some area of your life.

This may involve a teacher or guide, or someone in authority who sanctions your development – whether it has to do with your profession, your health, or simply enjoying life with others.

The Ace of Cups is also related to travel, being hospitable especially to strangers, and sympathy.

Perhaps you or someone in your life serves to help you or others move toward the future of their dreams.
