Appreciation For Art, Beauty and Above All, Nature; Living A Simple, Country Life; Memories of the Past or Future

It’s time to get back to the childlike joy of the simple life – enjoying fine, natural pleasures.

In order to experience the beauty of life, connect with your own beauty and bliss. Fortunately, we all possess inner bliss, but we’re not always consciously connected to it.

When you accept your inner riches of creativity and sensuality, your external reality begins to reflect the same.

The 6 of Cups is all about enjoying nature, rustic pleasures and natural luxury in the form of art, music, film, good food and good company. A visit to an elegant cafe, wine bar and the art gallery might be in order. Or maybe you’re being called to live in a cabin in the woods with a claw-foot bathtub and wood-burning stove….

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that enjoying life and nature is what we’re here for, especially when we’re surrounded by cement buildings, factories, artificial food and people, and the challenges they present.

Haunting memories or mere fantasies can also rob of us our inner well-being. Instead of longing for something of the past or in the future, you can be present wherever you find yourself, noticing the simple beauty and ease of life therein. Presence is the code for eternal bliss.

Accepting Limitations, A Creative Impulse, Something Innovative and New

One of the most difficult challenges for the soul is accepting the limitations of the body.

It requires hard work to earn a living. It takes time to get places. Dishes must be washed. The body must be cared for. We need to listen and communicate with others. Caution must be exercised around danger.

On the other hand, there’s a certain revelation that occurs when a soul finally does accept physical limitations and constraints, and uses them to do something new and creative. This is also the meaning of the Ace of Wands.

It’s about accepting the rules of the game but also playing the game from the heart, with guidance from the soul and higher aspirations. It’s about a beautiful new synthesis between the higher realms and the lower dimensions, between limitation and expansion.

Material Pressures, Music and Art, Creative Projects and Innovation

In a consumerist society, the way one survives is by going to school, learning a trade, getting a job and making their fortune, right?

Not so fast. Sure, many make their riches this way, but are they truly rich? The undeniable fact is that capital not only brings fortune, it carries with it a heavy weight of responsibility, or a load on the back.

The heavy pressures of the material world is the main subject of the 2 of Wands. Thankfully, this card has more to say about that.

The 2 of Wands is about capital but it’s equally about music, art and artistic ability, including intellectual art. The artist has a significant advantage if they choose to live by it.

Creativity requires patience as well as freedom of the mind so that inventive juices can flow. Sure, money’s necessary, but so is freedom for that energy current to stay in motion.

The wisdom of patience allows artistic inspiration to flow through you and empower you. Then the pressure of responsibilities becomes your fuel rather than a burden. By letting go of the weight, you can soar. It’s your choice.

Tarot: The High Priestess {How To Manifest Effortlessly}

The High Priestess by grisabele at Deviant Art, Tarot Illuminati, Mystic Faery Tarot and Phantomwise Tarot, intuitivefish.com

Tarot The High Priestess, How To Manifest Effortlessly, intuitivefish.com

The Divine Feminine, Repose, Devotion To Art, Nature and the Sacred, Wealth Consciousness

The High Priestess, or Divine Feminine, is often deliberately (and not without purpose) misunderstood as incapable, naive, slow or slothful, and even dumb.

But she’s far more powerful and efficient than we’re conditioned to believe, at least when she’s honored and allowed to rest secure in her rightful intuitive place – without persecution and without being viewed as a possession.

The High Priestess as the symbol of ‘womanhood’ {which is the polarity of The Magician as symbolic of ‘manhood} represents creativity, art, and its resulting earthly wealth.

Who dares to define feminine energy {within us all} with the sacred worship she deserves for her creative, natural abundance? Certainly not patriarchy.

This card also signifies devotion, dependability, durability and repose. It speaks of passive resistance or an attitude of waiting.

Tarot: Knight of Wands {How To Deal With Change}

Knight of Wands by The Fountain Tarot, [If you know the name of this deck, please contact me], Yoshitaka Amano and Shadowscapes, intuitivefish.com

Tarot Knight of Wands, How To Deal With Change, intuitivefish.com

Emotional Turbulence, Changes, Relocating

The Knight of Wands isn’t necessarily a bad knight, but somehow he manages to create anxiety and emotional turbulence whenever he appears.

He has a strange tendency to disrupt the internal harmony of an established group or family, and their traditions of the past.

How does he do this? He likes to explore the new and the unknown. The Knight of Wands is all about change and transmutation.

He loves to travel, in a wandering kind of way. In fact, he could be a vagrant, or a floater – an intruder in your home even. But he always seems to be absent, or on his way out the door.

He likes to investigate and he often appears to be on a quest for something, either practically, mentally or spiritually. But that something seems to change with the wind.

Although he tends to live in the past and he’s sentimental to a fault, he needs something new, strange or different. He may even be drawn to the occult.

You won’t feel settled or at rest with this person, especially if you like to maintain the status quo without rocking the boat. A family, home or other established group or tradition will be disrupted with this card – for better or for worse.

A Teacher or Guide, Desire-force, Development

The Ace of Cups is generally a card about your future, as in your future development or productiveness, and the kind of inspiring idealism needed to get you there.

The energy of this card offers you hope, encouragement and all around motivation to grow in some area of your life.

This may involve a teacher or guide, or someone in authority who sanctions your development – whether it has to do with your profession, your health, or simply enjoying life with others.

The Ace of Cups is also related to travel, being hospitable especially to strangers, and sympathy.

Perhaps you or someone in your life serves to help you or others move toward the future of their dreams.

Tarot: 8 of Cups {How To Find Your Courage}

Tarot 8 of Cups, How To Find Your Courage, intuitivefish.com

Shrinking Back In Timidity, Lost Opportunities, Dissatisfied, Leaving the Familiar

When the 8 of Cups shows up in a reading, it’s likely time to leave the familiar – which is becoming increasingly unsatisfying – and set out toward the unknown.

Things might not be all you hoped they would be at home, or within a familiar space. Sure, it’s safe. It’s comfortable. But it isn’t conducive to who you really are, and what you’re here to experience.

In fact, the safety and comfort of the familiar has likely made you timid and fearful to step out into new territory. But despondency and discontent kills the spirit, as you watch your dreams float past you.

There’s a point when we all outgrow the security of a home, family, relationship or career, or even a familiar recipe…. We need a healthy dose of adventure as well as uncertainty. That’s really the only way we can feel fulfilled in life.

So bring on the chaos and the unpredictable and erratic changes, if necessary. You’ll not only survive, but thrive.

Tarot 3 of Wands, How to Focus On Your Passion, intuitivefish.com

Messaging, Empty Chatter, Distractions

Messaging – sending and receiving messages – is the main theme of the the 3 of Wands. Ancient systems of communication are still relevant today, and even more so with the luxury of advancing technology.

The only problem? With all of those emails and chat messages, it’s easy to get distracted from your life passion.

Much of our conversations revolve around unimportant subjects. How much of our energy is robbed by sitting around talking to girlfriends about the current fashion fad or celebrity icon? Or endless discussions on the marriages and divorces of acquaintances? Or the stock market, price of real estate or the latest movie, video game or technology gadget? Unless these topics directly relate to your life purpose, they turn into wasted energy.

The 3 of Wands is a reminder that there’s much in your surroundings – good things even, including the kindest and most helpful of friends or loved ones – that can thwart you from your life path and soul mission.

When this short, passing lifetime is over, you’ll wish you used this privileged opportunity as a human to contribute your highest, unique potential to the world.

Condense your focus, and distractions lose their appeal and fall by the wayside.

Tarot: 5 of Swords {How To Survive A Crisis}

5 of Swords by Old English Tarot, Lumina Tarot, Mystic Faerie Tarot and Erotic Tarot, intuitivefish.com

Tarot 5 of Swords, How To Survive A Crisis, intuitivefish.com

Loss, A Crisis, Inner Bitterness

Life isn’t easy when the 5 of Swords appears. It indicates a calamity or crisis. This situation does not feel good, to say the least.

Maybe you’ve been humiliated. Maybe you’re dealing with the threat of loss, an illness or a business failure. Or maybe you’re in the throes of depression. Or all of the above.

There’s no use trying to alleviate the pain or awkwardness with platitudes or positive thinking. It would be a waste of power to resist, ignore or deny the situation. Things are what they are. And this is a critical moment.

But this is not a card of total defeat. There is hope of victory.

To manifest better things, you need to use your inner forces for self-empowerment rather than dysfunction. Shift self-deprecating thoughts into beliefs of self-respect. Transform fear or sorrow into efficacious action. Instead of wallowing or getting stuck in bitterness, believe in your power to create beauty from ashes.
